These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Scopeai's Website, located at https://myscopeai.com.
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use myScopeAI if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the ScopeAI mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
ScopeAI ("we," "our," or "us") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
ScopeAI is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to generate property inspection reports and renovation scopes of work. Users can upload property photos, receive AI-generated analysis, and connect with contractors through our marketplace. Our services include:
AI-powered property image analysis
Renovation scope of work generation
Material and cost estimation
PDF report generation
Contractor marketplace for lead generation and estimate requests
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain the security of your password and account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Subscription Plans
ScopeAI offers auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to AI-generated reports on a monthly basis:
Homeowner Basic — $9.99/month (up to 4 reports)
Homeowner Pro — $19.99/month (up to 10 reports)
Pro Plan — $39.99/month (up to 25 reports)
Enterprise — $99.99/month (up to 40 reports)
5.2 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
5.3 Managing Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or through the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.
5.4 One-Time Purchases
ScopeAI also offers one-time in-app purchases, including:
Single Report Unlock — $4.99 per report
Priority Response — $4.99 per estimate request
Lead Unlock — Variable pricing based on project budget ($29.99–$199.99)
5.5 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Apple's App Store payment system. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary in other countries.
5.6 Free Trial
If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
6. User Content
6.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload to the App. By uploading content, you grant ScopeAI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing our services.
6.2 Restrictions
You agree not to upload content that:
Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material
Violates any applicable law or regulation
Contains malware or harmful code
7. AI-Generated Reports
7.1 Informational Purposes Only
All AI-generated reports, cost estimates, material lists, and renovation recommendations are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice from a licensed contractor, engineer, architect, or building inspector.
7.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, ScopeAI does not guarantee that AI-generated analysis, cost estimates, or recommendations are complete, accurate, or suitable for any specific purpose. Actual renovation costs, material needs, and project timelines may vary significantly.
7.3 Professional Consultation Recommended
We strongly recommend consulting with licensed professionals before making any renovation decisions or undertaking any construction work based on information provided by the App.
8. Contractor Marketplace
8.1 Independent Contractors
Contractors listed in the ScopeAI marketplace are independent third parties. ScopeAI does not employ, endorse, or guarantee the work of any contractor. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any work performed by contractors found through our platform.
8.2 Lead Information
Homeowners who submit estimate requests consent to having their contact information shared with contractors who purchase lead unlocks. Contact information is masked until a contractor completes the unlock purchase.
8.3 No Guarantee of Results
ScopeAI does not guarantee that homeowners will receive estimates, or that contractors will receive leads or business through the marketplace.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and AI models, is owned by ScopeAI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our written permission.
10. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
Resell or redistribute AI-generated reports without permission
Use automated systems to access the App
Impersonate any person or entity
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://myscopeai.com/privacy-policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our data collection and usage practices.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SCOPEAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOPEAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SCOPEAI'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO SCOPEAI IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScopeAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third party's rights.
15. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Account deletion will permanently remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in New York, New York.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ScopeAI regarding your use of the App.
